In 2017, he performed the emotionally charged Temmingh Piano Concerto of his belated father, Roelof Temmingh senior (Composer, conductor and organist who sadly passed away in 2012) with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra in the Endler Hall, Stellenbosch. Roelof has also performed at the prestigious Musikverein in Vienna, Austria. Another highlight was to perform Prokofiev’s piano concerto no 3 with the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra in Durban City Hall in 2012.

Roelof is an RCM Award Holder, supported by a Jenny Marsh Chapman Scholarship and finalist for the “Rising Star Award” at the 2018 Annual South African Chambers of Commerce Business Awards in the UK.
